After the Eclipse
(Bound for the Stars)

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY: 80' | Galician English | Spanish |  Worldwide distribution

PROJECT IN PRODUCTION

In August 2026, NASA will launch one of the most ambitious space telescope ever built. With privileged access to the mission from within NASA, After the Eclipse follows the final countdown to a launch that could transform our understanding of the universe and bring us closer to answering one of humanity’s greatest questions: Are we alone?

This access is made possible through Spanish scientist Begoña Vila, a systems engineer who has worked on both the James Webb and Roman space telescopes. Through her, the film enters spaces normally closed to the public and reveals the people, decisions and decades of work behind one of the most ambitious scientific projects of our time.
